What Book Are You Currently Reading?
The Wrong Family {Terryn Fisher}

This book was one of the 3 psychological thrillers that I had posted about on Wednesday. I’ll post a full review posted once I finish reading. So far it’s…eh. Fingers crossed it will get better!
Goodreads Synopsis of The Wrong Family {Terryn Fisher}:
Juno was wrong about Winnie Crouch.
Before moving in with the Crouch family, Juno thought Winnie and her husband, Nigel, had the perfect marriage, the perfect son—the perfect life. Only now that she’s living in their beautiful house, she sees the cracks in the crumbling facade are too deep to ignore.
Still, she isn’t one to judge. After her grim diagnosis, the retired therapist simply wants a place to live out the rest of her days in peace. But that peace is shattered the day Juno overhears a chilling conversation between Winnie and Nigel…
She shouldn’t get involved.
She really shouldn’t.
But this could be her chance to make a few things right.
Because if you thought Juno didn’t have a secret of her own, then you were wrong about her, too.
What Book Did You Recently Finish Reading?
The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry {Gabrielle Zevin}

I am OBSESSED with this book. Best book I’ve ever read…EVER. Read it’s synopsis and my thoughts HERE.
What Book Do You Think You’ll Read Next?
Starfish {Lisa Fipps}

I’ve seen this book being read around the book blogging community and THEN my dear friend who KNOWS my taste in books also recommended it. I think it sounds wonderful and I LOVE a good YA book with a meaningful message! I’ll let you know my thoughts 🙂
Goodreads Synopsis of Starfish {Lisa Fipps}:
Ever since Ellie wore a whale swimsuit and made a big splash at her fifth birthday party, she’s been bullied about her weight. To cope, she tries to live by the Fat Girl Rules–like “no making waves,” “avoid eating in public,” and “don’t move so fast that your body jiggles.” And she’s found her safe space–her swimming pool–where she feels weightless in a fat-obsessed world. In the water, she can stretch herself out like a starfish and take up all the room she wants. It’s also where she can get away from her pushy mom, who thinks criticizing Ellie’s weight will motivate her to diet. Fortunately, Ellie has allies in her dad, her therapist, and her new neighbor, Catalina, who loves Ellie for who she is. With this support buoying her, Ellie might finally be able to cast aside the Fat Girl Rules and starfish in real life–by unapologetically being her own fabulous self.
Have you read any of these 3 books? What did you think (no spoilers)? What are you currently reading? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
