Blogmas 2022: 2 Books For Upcoming Blog Giveaways

Being a book blogger, I’m extraordinarily fortunate that authors and publishers graciously offer to send me books every single day. Although I would say I turn down probably 85% of them at this point, I’m always thankful for the offer. I pride myself on only accepting books that are books I am genuinely excited to read and books that I would have chosen on my own had they not been offered to me to read.
I have recently received 2 books in the mail and I think both sound GREAT. I will be reading these in the new year and will post my full review once I finish. I’ll also be hosting giveaways for both of these in the new year so be on the lookout!
Book #1
Operation Mom: My Plan to Get My Mom a Life… and a Man {Reenita M. Hora}

Book #2
Ugly {Kelly Vincent}

Don’t both of these sound wonderful??
Which of these 2 books would you be the most interested in reading?

Your book blog is one of my favorites, but why, why, why did you put the synopsis in image blocks? Or were there pictures of the book synopsis on the backs of the books? My eyesight is too crappy to be able to read visually, so I use a voiceover. Whenever you talk about a book on your blog, say if it’s a book review, my voiceover will read an Image code, which I assume is a picture of the book cover. Then below that, it’ll read the copied and pasted good reads synopsis. Below books 1 and 2, VoiceOver is only reading two Image codes and no synopsis in text. I really hope this is not going to be your new way of presenting books. Otherwise, your accessibility user followers won’t know what the story is about. And your reviews would feel disconnected, because they won’t know what you’re talking about. As for this giveaway post, I have no idea which of the two books sounds more amazing.

Oh thank you for this comment and for bringing this to my attention! I usually do include the Goodreads synopsis but today I did post photos of the synopsis on the backs of the books. I very much appreciate this comment and will absolutely keep this in mind moving forward. Thank you for following my blog, I’m so glad to hear that it’s one of your favorites! Means so much to me!

Operation Mom sounds good. Looking forward to your review. I agree with the poster who couldn’t read this. I had to take off my glasses to read it. Thanks for addressing this.
