Book Review: The Soulmate {Sally Hepworth}

Book Review: The Soulmate {Sally Hepworth}

Goodreads Synopsis of The Soulmate {Sally Hepworth}:

There’s a cottage on a cliff. Gabe and Pippa’s dream home in a sleepy coastal town. But their perfect house hides something sinister. The tall cliffs have become a popular spot for people to end their lives. Night after night Gabe comes to their rescue, literally talking them off the ledge. Until he doesn’t.

When Pippa discovers Gabe knew the victim, the questions spiral…Did the victim jump? Was she pushed?

And would Gabe, the love of Pippa’s life, her soulmate…lie? As the perfect facade of their marriage begins to crack, the deepest and darkest secrets begin to unravel.

My Review of The Soulmate {Sally Hepworth}:

Eh.

I couldn’t connect to ANY of the characters at ANY time of this book which made it hard to care what happened to any of them.

While I found the bits about their marriages interesting, I absolutely hated the bits about the businesses, investors, etc. Unfortunately, this was a major part of the book!

AND there was one pretty big storyline that was never really explained…I waited the entire book to find out more about it! I don’t want to give anything away so I won’t go into detail but I can’t imagine I’m the only reader who wanted more storyline about this…

There WAS a twist that I did NOT see coming which is always fun but overall? Eh.

The best part of this book were the insanely short chapters…some were 1 or 2 pages long! I love that so much, I flew through this book. I really do wish every book could be written in short chapters such as this.

2 Sally Hepworth books that are worth reading over The Soulmate: THIS ONE and THIS ONE.

Book Coffee Happy Epilogue:

She’s written better books.

Latest Library Book Haul and Giveaway Winner

A peek into my latest library book haul!

*The What You Do To Me book and book swag winner is announced at the bottom of this post!*

Library Book #1: The Mothers {Jennifer Gilmore}

Goodreads Synopsis of The Mothers {Jennifer Gilmore}:

Jesse and Ramon are a loving couple, but after years spent unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant, they turn to adoption, relieved to think that once they navigate the bureaucratic path to parent-hood they will have a happy ending. But nothing has prepared them for the labyrinthine process—for the many training sessions and approvals; for the constant advice from friends, strangers, and “experts”; for the birthmothers who contact them but don’t ultimately choose them; or even, most shockingly, for the women who call claiming they’ve chosen Jesse and Ramon but who turn out never to have been pregnant in the first place.

Library Book #2: Prom Mom {Laura Lippman}

Goodreads Synopsis of Prom Mom {Laura Lippman}:

Amber Glass has spent her entire adult life putting as much distance as possible between her and her hometown of Baltimore, where she fears she will forever be known as “Prom Mom”–the girl who allegedly killed her baby on the night of the prom after her date, Joe Simpson, abandoned her to pursue the girl he really liked. But when circumstances bring Amber back to the city, she realizes she can have a second chance–as long as she stays away from Joe, now a successful commercial real estate developer, married to a plastic surgeon, Meredith, to whom he is devoted.

The problem is, Amber can’t stay away from Joe. And Joe finds that it’s increasingly hard for him to ignore Amber, if only because she remembers the boy he was and the man he said he was going to be. Against the surreal backdrop of 2020 and early 2021, the two are slowly drawn to each other and eventually cross the line they’ve been trying not to cross.

And then Joe asks Amber to help him do the unthinkable…

Library Book #3: Big Swiss {Jen Beagin}

Goodreads Synopsis of Big Swiss {Jen Beagin}:

Greta lives with her friend Sabine in an ancient Dutch farmhouse in Hudson, New York. She spends her days transcribing therapy sessions for a sex coach who calls himself Om. She becomes infatuated with his newest client, a repressed married woman she affectionately refers to as Big Swiss, since she’s tall, stoic, and originally from Switzerland. They both have dark histories, but Big Swiss chooses to remain unattached to her suffering while Greta continues to be tortured by her past.

One day, Greta recognizes Big Swiss’s voice at the dog park. In a panic, she introduces herself with a fake name and they quickly become enmeshed. Although Big Swiss is unaware of Greta’s true identity, Greta has never been more herself with anyone.

Bold, outlandish, and filled with irresistible characters, Big Swiss is both a love story and also a deft examination of infidelity, mental health, sexual stereotypes, and more—from an amazingly talented, one-of-a-kind voice in contemporary fiction.

Library Book #4: Stone Cold Fox {Rachel Koller Croft}

Goodreads Synopsis of Stone Cold Fox {Rachel Koller Croft}:

Like any enterprising woman, Bea knows what she’s worth and is determined to get all she deserves—it just so happens that what she deserves is to marry rich. After a lifetime of forced instruction in the art of swindling men by her mother, Bea wants nothing more than to escape her shadow, close the door on their sordid past, and disappear safely into old-money domesticity.

When Bea finds her final mark in the perfectly dull blue-blooded Collin, she’s ready to deploy all her tricks one last time. The challenge isn’t getting the ring, but rather the approval of Collin’s family and everyone else in their tax bracket, particularly his childhood best friend Gale. Going toe-to-toe with Gale isn’t a threat to an expert like Bea, but what begins as an amusing cat-and-mouse game quickly develops into a dangerous chase. As the truth of Bea’s past threatens to come roaring out, she finds herself racing against the clock to pass the finish line before everything is exposed.

1 Abby Jimenez Book That I Loved and 1 Abby Jimenez Book That I Did NOT Love

1 Abby Jimenez Book That I Loved and 1 Abby Jimenez Book That I Did NOT Love

We have a season pass to the Six Flags amusement park here in IL which is verrrrrry conveniently located right by a Dunkin’ drive thru. That drive thru has somehow become part of our visit on our way home each time! Being outside in the heat riding roller coasters all day calls for an iced coffee…I simply can’t handle hot coffee on these HOT roller coaster days!

***These are reviews of books #2 and #3 in The Friend Zone series! Definitely start by reading book #1 before reading either of these books. You can read all about book #1 (including the book synopsis, my review, and a picture of a cake shaped like a vagina) HERE.***

The Friend Zone Book #2: The Happily After Playlist {Abby Jimenez}

Goodreads Synopsis of The Happily Ever After Playlist {Abby Jimenez}

Two years after losing her fiancé, Sloan Monroe still can’t seem to get her life back on track. But one trouble-making pup with a “take me home” look in his eyes is about to change everything. With her new pet by her side, Sloan finally starts to feel more like herself. Then, after weeks of unanswered texts, Tucker’s owner reaches out. He’s a musician on tour in Australia. And bottom line: He wants Tucker back.

Well, Sloan’s not about to give up her dog without a fight. As their flirty texts turn into long calls, Sloan can’t deny a connection. There’s no telling what could happen when they meet in person. The question is: With his music career on the rise, how long will Jason really stick around? And is it possible for Sloan to survive another heartbreak?

My Review of The Happily Ever After Playlist {Abby Jimenez}

Loved it! It’s adorable. The characters, the storylines, all of it…adorable. Totally held my interest enough to breeze right through it just so I could continue on with the series. I wasn’t surprised that I loved it considering how much I loved the first one in this series! Abby Jimenez has a great writing style, I’m a big fan.

So alllll of that being said….

Man, did I NOT enjoy book #3….

The Friend Zone Book #2: Life’s Too Short {Abby Jimenez}

Even reading this book during a beautiful vacation wasn’t enough to make me enjoy it.

Goodreads Synopsis of Life’s Too Short {Abby Jimenez}:

A brilliant and touching romantic comedy about two polar opposites, one adorable dog, and living each day to its fullest.

When Vanessa Price quit her job to pursue her dream of traveling the globe, she wasn’t expecting to gain millions of YouTube followers who shared her joy of seizing every moment. For her, living each day to its fullest isn’t just a motto. Her mother and sister never saw the age of 30, and Vanessa doesn’t want to take anything for granted.

But after her half-sister suddenly leaves Vanessa in custody of her infant daughter, life goes from “daily adventure” to “next-level bad” (now with bonus baby vomit in hair). The last person Vanessa expects to show up offering help is the hot lawyer next door, Adrian Copeland. After all, she barely knows him. No one warned her that he was the Secret Baby Tamer or that she’d be spending a whole lot of time with him and his geriatric Chihuahua.

Now she’s feeling things she’s vowed not to feel. Because the only thing worse than falling for Adrian is finding a little hope for a future she may never see.

My Review of Life’s Too Short {Abby Jimenez}:

Aaaaaand I didn’t finish it. I read 200 pages and then…I was OUT. And those 200 pages took my significantly longer to read than they should have.

It wasn’t bad, not at all! It was just…completely character driven (which I hate, give me a plot driven book anyday over character driven). So many thoughts, so many feelings, so much drama, so much backstory, just so, so much…eh.

Was it peppered with adorable banter? Yes. Was it sprinkled with adorable situations? Absolutely. Was it enough to keep me reading? Nope.

I loved the first 2 books in this series but this one was a miss for me. I will most likely read the next 2: Part of Your World and Truly Yours…I just need a bit of a breather first. I’ve heard both are wonderful!

Not sure what’s worse…this book or my manicure?

Book Coffee Happy Epilogue:

Most Annoying Audiobook Voice.

Most Annoying Audiobook Voice.

This gigantic zucchini has absolutely nothing to do with this blog post but it’s insane and deserves a permanent spot on the Internet.

This is my 5th Freida Mcfadden audiobook that I’ve listened to. I went into it assuming it would be like the others…not the BEST psychological thrillers out there…but definitely GOOD. Like, easy to listen to while doing other things, easy to follow the stories, etc. Here are my thoughts on the 4 other Freida Mcfadden audiobooks I’ve listened to:

The Surrogate Mother

The Inmate

Do Not Disturb

Want to Know a Secret?

And now…my 5th Freida Mcfadden book. The one with the most annoying narrator of all time:

Goodreads Synopsis of The Locked Door {Freida Mcfadden}:

Some doors are locked for a reason…

While eleven-year-old Nora Davis was up in her bedroom doing homework, she had no idea her father was killing women in the basement.

Until the day the police arrived at their front door.

Decades later, Nora’s father is spending his life behind bars, and Nora is a successful surgeon with a quiet, solitary existence. Nobody knows her father was a notorious serial killer. And she intends to keep it that way.

Then Nora discovers one of her young female patients has been murdered. In the same unique and horrific manner that her father used to kill his victims.

Somebody knows who Nora is. Somebody wants her to take the fall for this unthinkable crime. But she’s not a killer like her father. The police can’t pin anything on her.

As long as they don’t look in her basement.

Most Annoying Audiobook Voice

I never even got to determine if I liked the story or if it was well written because…THAT. VOICE. It was AWFUL. I can’t even describe it…like an old fashioned detective type voice? Does that even make sense? Like a cartoon? I truly can’t describe that voice….like every word she said had such an intense tone. Terrible.

I talked a bit about this on Instagram saying that there are definitely certain voices (accents, etc.) that I prefer while listening to audiobooks but I’ve NEVER had to stop listening purely due to the voice of the narrator. Until this book. Made it exactly 15% before I was DONE. I could not handle that voice for even 1 second longer.

Have you listened to this book? What did you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Video AND Written Review! The Summer I Turned Pretty {Jenny Han}

Video AND Written Review! The Summer I Turned Pretty {Jenny Han}

At least twice every summer I decide that I should try iced coffee and at least twice every summer I’m reminded why I don’t drink iced coffee.

So I’m going to write this blog post as usual…NO SPOILERS! However, at the verrrry end of this post I will put a link to a video that I made where I discuss a huge storyline that I thought was going to happen throughout the entire story…and I could not have been more WRONG, lol. I’ll also link the trailer for the Amazon Prime miniseries.

The Summer I Turned Pretty {Jenny Han}

Audiobook Cover Photo Credit: Amazon

Goodreads Synopsis of The Summer I Turned Pretty {Jenny Han}

Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer—they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one terrible and wonderful summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along.

My Review of The Summer I Turned Pretty {Jenny Han}

So obviously I might be the last person on the planet to read this one…but I finally did! Well, I listened to it as an audiobook. Shortest audiobook ever–6 hours! I listened over the course of 3 days.

Going into it, my expectations weren’t exactly high as I did NOT love To All the Boys I Loved Before (you can read my thoughts HERE). I definitely liked this book more than that one! However, I still have the same thought as I did with To All the Boys I Loved Before…it’s just so YA. I know, I know, it’s meant for YA readers but as an adult, I love when YA books can also appeal to all ages. Jenny Han’s writing is just…for teens. NOT adults. Does that make sense??

My 4 biggest complaints with The Summer I Turned Pretty:

  1. The back and forth timelines. Holy hell was this annoying. I don’t mind a back and forth if they go in chronological order but this one…Sweet Jesus. “The Summer I was 10 Years Old” to “The Summer I was 15 Years Old” to “The Summer I was 12 Years Old”. Maybe reading this as a physical book to flip back and remind myself what year we were in would have made this more tolerable?
  2. This book reads like a memoir. I hate memoirs.
  3. I had an obvious prediction from the very beginning that I was 1,000 % sure was going to happen and…it didn’t. Would have made a great storyline if it did! It seemed so obvious to me, I wonder if that was the intention? To make the reader think the story was going in a totally different direction? *** Watch my video below where I discuss this but know that I give away some MAJOR spoilers. You’ve been warned. ***
  4. LACK. OF. CHARACTER. DEVELOPMENT. The only character that was properly developed with Susannah. Everyone else just seemed so surface level.

This book did hold my attention and after listening to a few psychological thrillers in a row, it was a nice break. Do I feel invested in these characters enough to read the other 2 books in the trilogy? I do not. Moving on…

Video Where You Can See How My Mind Tried to Turn Something Really Beautiful Into Something Really Scandalous

If you haven’t yet read this book and have plans to in the future, do NOT watch my video as I give away some huge spoilers! If you HAVE read this book or don’t plan on reading it, enjoy this video where you can see how my mind tried to turn something really beautiful into something really scandalous. Somebody please watch this and tell me that your mind also went straight to this…

The Summer I Turned Pretty is now a miniseries on Amazon Prime! I think the casting is super weird.  NONE of these characters (especially Belly) look even remotely close to how they looked in my head while reading! Here is the trailer:

Book Coffee Happy Epilogue:

The ending that Jenny Share created in her head would have been a much more interesting ending than Jenny Han created on paper.

Have you read this book? Have you watched the miniseries? What did you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. SO. MUCH. (and a vagina cake picture)

I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. SO. MUCH. (and a vagina cake picture)

While taking this picture of one of the gorgeous roses currently growing on our backyard rose bushes, a rose thorn got me straight in my palm. IT HURT. Blogging in dangerous.

Ok before I begin writing this blog post, I need to give a huge shout out to my girl Dye Girl! When I told her that I was about to start reading Abby Jimenez’s Part of Your World, she informed me that there is an order to Abby Jimenez’s books. Who knew?!? Certainly not me! While I do believe these books can all be read as stand alone novels, reading them in order allows for character cross over between books….which I LOVE. Incredibly glad I listened to her! So that very day, I went straight to the library and checked out books 1-3.

**Side Note: Dye Girl is the creator of my favorite tie dye shirt of all time (and I own LOTS of tie dye shirts). The colors are amazing and it’s so ridiculously soft. If you love tie dye (or ever want to buy me a present), check out her website (linked above)!**

I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. SO. MUCH.

First up, Book #1: The Friend Zone!

Goodreads Synopsis of The Friend Zone {Abby Jimenez}

Kristen Petersen doesn’t do drama, will fight to the death for her friends, and has no room in her life for guys who just don’t get her. She’s also keeping a big secret: facing a medically necessary procedure that will make it impossible for her to have children.

Planning her best friend’s wedding is bittersweet for Kristen—especially when she meets the best man, Josh Copeland. He’s funny, sexy, never offended by her mile-wide streak of sarcasm, and always one chicken enchilada ahead of her hangry. Even her dog, Stuntman Mike, adores him. The only catch: Josh wants a big family someday. Kristen knows he’d be better off with someone else, but as their attraction grows, it’s harder and harder to keep him at arm’s length.

My Review of Book Review: The Friend Zone {Abby Jimenez}:

I absolutely loved it.

What an adorable book with such lovely characters! Thank goodness this is book #1 in the series because I am most definitely NOT ready to say good-bye to these characters or these storylines.

I truly can’t remember I stayed up way too late reading a book because I very literally couldn’t put it down. This was that book for me. Amazing.

Hair Salon + Book + Dunkin’ = JOY.

This book was such an easy read…I could have flown through it in 1 day. If you have an upcoming vacation, this would be such a perfect vacay book to bring with you! Just make sure you also bring the rest of the series along…there’s no way you won’t want to continue reading once you finish.

WHY DID I NOT READ THIS BOOK YEARS AGO WHEN IT WAS FIRST RELEASED?!

Most Random Side Note (Vagina Cake Picture):

While researching this author, I came across a super fun fact. She once created a cake that was supposed to look like a geode and the photo went viral because it looked so much like a vagina. Now you can order a “Vagode” cake and have it shipped anywhere in the country! Aaaaaaand now I love her and her books even more..

Photo Credit: Daily Mail

Book Coffee Happy Epilogue:

Read this series. Start with this book. Order a “Vagode” cake.

Have you read this book? What did you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below (NO SPOILERS FOR THIS BOOK OR ANY BOOK IN THE SERIES)!

Book I’m Currently Reading:

The Happy Ever After Playlist {Abby Jimenez}:

I cannot include the synopsis of this book because it’s actually book #2 of a series and the synopsis gives away a MAJOR spoiler from book #1!

Here is book #1 (I’ll have a review posted on here soon buuuuuuut since I’m currently reading book #2 you can safely assume that I LOVED IT):

Coffee I’m Currently Drinking:

As part of my Mother’s Day gift, my in laws gave me a very generous Dunkin’ gift card. THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING! It has brought me such joy over these past few weeks….

Currently Making Me Happy:

Charging my Book Light

My amazing book light just got even more amazing! If you missed it, HERE is the post where I talk allll about it and it’s awesome features. I love it so much!

I bought it and I use it ALL THE TIME. In all of this time (I bought it exactly TO THE WEEK one year ago), I’ve never had to charge it even once! Until this week…

I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to charge…just plugged it in like my phone! I’m not sure what I was expecting (I tend to get intimidated with anything that has wires and/or buttons) but this was a total breeze.

I didn’t think it was possible to love this book light even more than I already did but I now do! BUY THIS BOOK LIGHT (there is a link to it in the post above).

Goodreads Synopsis of Thank You For Listening {Julia Whelan}

For Sewanee Chester, being an audiobook narrator is a long way from her old dreams, but the days of being a star on film sets are long behind her. She’s found success and satisfaction from the inside of a sound booth and it allows her to care for her beloved, ailing grandmother. When she arrives in Las Vegas last-minute for a book convention, Sewanee unexpectedly spends a whirlwind night with a charming stranger.

On her return home, Sewanee discovers one of the world’s most beloved romance novelists wanted her to perform her last book—with Brock McNight, the industry’s hottest, most secretive voice. Sewanee doesn’t buy what romance novels are selling—not after her own dreams were tragically cut short—and she stopped narrating them years ago. But her admiration of the late author, and the opportunity to get her grandmother more help, makes her decision for her.

As Sewanee begins work on the book, resurrecting her old romance pseudonym, she and Brock forge a real connection, hidden behind the comfort of anonymity. Soon, she is dreaming again, but secrets are revealed, and the realities of life come crashing down around her once more.

If she can learn to risk everything for desires she has long buried, she will discover a world of intimacy and acceptance she never believed would be hers.

My Review of Thank You For Listening {Julia Whelan}:

Not for me. Nope. Nope.

So I loved that it was about audiobook narrators…obviously since I have been so obsessd with audiobooks lately! That part of this book and it’s behind the scenes was super interesting to me.

Something else that I found SUPER interesting about this book was the fact that the author was the narrator! I don’t think I’ve every listened to an audiobook narrated by the author before. I thought she was great (mostly…a few voices I wasn’t a huge fan of but overall she was great).

Every other part of this book? Eh. Not nearly as interesting.

SO. MANY. FEELINGS.

So. Much. Talking.

So. Much. Backstory.

So. Much. Heaviness.

And obviously the dialogue was super cheesy and unrealistic. Grown ups do not talk to each other like this!

I have so many complaints about this book but one of the biggest was the big “twist” that I literally predicted from the very beginning and spent the entire book waiting to be revealed.

If you love audiobooks, you might (most likely will not, lol) enjoy this book. If you don’t listen to audiobooks, this is definitely NOT a book for you.

The main character is named Sewanee. Her grandmother is named Blah Blah. Swanee and Blah Blah. I hate this book.

How on EARTH did Jodi Picoult and Taylor Jenkins Reid blurb the cover?!

It was boring. So boring. Although it did hold my attention enough to keep listening so there’s that.

Moving on…

Book Coffee Happy Epilogue:

The main characters called each other “fartheads”. Enough said.

I Was Wrong. So Very Wrong. This Book is AMAZING. {Part 2}

I Was Wrong. So Very Wrong. This Book is AMAZING. {Part 2}

I posted this on Instagram exactly a year to the DAY before I finished reading the book! So random. I posted this last year when Jenna Bush Hager was announcing that it was the book of the month for her Read With Jenna book club and I was NOT feeling it!

Many times when a book is gaining lots of attention, I don’t feel that attention is deserved (examples of this HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE).

Sometimes….sometimes…the popularity of the book is a direct and well deserved representation of the beautfully written words written inside (examples of this HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE).

There’s also the category of “Ok the book is WILDLY popular and so well loved but I have ZERO desire to read it and I’m not going to….but then eventually I will cave and read it and I will hate it just as expected”. (Examples of this HERE and HERE).

But then there’s an entirely different category. A very special category. The category of EXTREMELY popular books that I have ZERO desire to read and then I cave and read them and then…I get it. I totally get it. Every last bit of hype and praise so well deserved and I realize how wrong I was to resist reading it for so long. A few years ago there was a book that I was VERY against reading and when I finally did…it was one of the best books I’ve ever read (you can read part 1 of “I Was Wrong. So Very Wrong. This Book is AMAZING. HERE).

It’s happened again.

Goodreads Synopsis of Remarkably Bright Creatures {Shelby Van Pelt}:

After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago.

Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors–until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Ever the detective, Marcellus deduces what happened the night Tova’s son disappeared. And now Marcellus must use every trick his old invertebrate body can muster to unearth the truth for her before it’s too late.

My Review of Remarkably Bright Creatures {Shelby Van Pelt}:

A gem. A total gem of an absolutely beautifully written book. One of the very best books I’ve read.

When I tell you that I had ZERO desire to read this book, I mean I had ZERO desire to read this book. An octopus?!? Hard pass. But I promise this book isn’t like that. It’s a beautiful story with such depth and perfection. And dare I say that my favorite chapters were the ones told from the point of view of the octopus???

This book made me think and left me with a whole slew of emotions. I smiled, I cried, I felt it all. This book is wonderful.

I saw this gorgeous statue while I was shopping last weekend and I immediately thought of Marcellus! See my daughter’s shoe beneath the table? Imagine her saying, “Mom…are you taking a picture of an…OCTOPUS statue???” Why yes darling, I sure am 🙂

The one and ONLY unglowing (not a real word) thing I will say about this book was that I did find it quite predictable. I’m usually horrible at making predictions and I basically predicted this entire book. However, it didn’t even matter because the book was so incredible and beautiful.

I listened to this as an audiobook and the narrators were PERFECTION. I loved, loved, loved the voices of Marcellus and Tova. After I finished reading and did my own research, I was blown away to find out that the voice of Marcellus belongs to one of my favorite characters on Shrinking (side note: if you haven’t yet watched Shrinking on Apple TV….watch Shrinking, it’s amazing).

Book Coffee Happy Epilogue:

Let go of how weird this book sounds and just READ IT. It’s perfection.

Book I’m Reading!

Book I’m Reading!

I bought a new candle a few days ago and put it on our dining room table. Apparently my husband has noticed it (insert eye roll emoji here).

Hi Friends!

How are you??? My audiobook game is still going strong (yesterday I finished listening to one of the best books I’ve ever read/listened to…I’ll write a blog post about it ASAP) but it does also feel nice to read an actual print book. Absolutely nothing could ever compare to holding an actual print book in my hands. The best!

Book I’m Reading

I was sent this book a while back and I’m so happy to start reading, I think it sounds great! Have any of you read it?

Adorbs Cover Art!
